Sempai Dickson studied Hapkido at the age of 14 for four years. After which he swapped styles to Kyokushin in 1983 and recieved his Blackbelt in 1989 under Sensei Hioki. Sempai Dickson has fought full contact since 1989. After arriving to AFSK in 2010 he received his Shodan in 2012 under Kyoshi Ruben Ruiz. Since then he has been an Assistant Instructor for AFSK.
Mrs. Cruz has extensive experience in organizing and executing events for numerous organizations. She has coordinated the Crusin for St. Judes event (5 Years), Clothing Drives for Homeless events (3 Years), and numerous Car Club events (5 Years). She brings her vast amount of knowledge and skills to AFSK.
Veronica Ruiz is the Co-Owner of AFSK and a Shotokan student that has been studying under Kyoshi Ruben Ruiz for the past 14 years. She is scheduled to undergo her Shodan examination in the near future. Mrs. Ruiz manages all of the everyday operations.
Edwin Quiles heads our technology department and holds a B.S. in Information Technology and a Master of Education (Curriculum and Instruction). He is currently pursuing his Doctoral Degree.
